Near end of day update ----

I made some (Better-than-Take-Out) Fried Rice and some packaged Sweet&Sour Chicken for lunch today.  It was  Great ...   I'd almost forgotten how easy it is to make and how good it is to consume....  (!!!)  And, hours later I am still smelling the goodness of the meal!

We had our usual Monday/Tuesday visitor today -- Susan, a neighbor friend of ours.  She is a hospice nurse in the other valley.  She comes over here to do her "charting", to document all of the visits she made on her weekend shift...  She enjoyed the 'lunch special' with us and then she finished and went and picked up a couple of Arby's Roast Beef sandwiches for our dinner.  She enjoys coming here so I can help her with the computer if she needs it, and we enjoy her company.

I have been playing some 'New Age' music today.  Gma has commented a couple of times that she has been enjoying it.  I quite like this kind of music since I first discovered it in Phoenix back in the mid 1990s.

Gma has been alert this morning and early afternoon.  She even picked up her knitting needles after lunch.  Now at 4PM, she is resting her eyes in her chair in the front room.

Overall, I think she is doing very well today.  This is one of those 'good' days that occurs at times....
