I'm sorry for this late Blog Entry...

I have been switching over to a new laptop and other things that have consumed my time, in addition to caring for Mom...

The latest info regarding Mom is overall very favorable (on the surface).

She had a bad problem on Monday morning which made it ever so hard for her to move that day.  But, since then she has improved in her mobility ever-so-much, improving each day.  So, now, here it is Friday and she is getting around just as well as she did last week (prior to the incident).

The Hospice Doctor came with the Nurse for his regular visit (a couple of weeks early) last Tuesday. I wanted to mention what the doctor said when I walked outside with them at the end of their visit...

He said that he was hearing some congestion in her lungs.  This is not new -- we've heard that from the nurses before...  So, we wait...  She has congestion and then she clears up the next week...
Unfortunately, congestion in the lungs is a prelude to pneumonia --  A common cause of death in the elderly.
