On Thursday, when the nurse visited, one of the usual questions is in regards to bowel movements. Mom checked her book that she keeps track of things (like when she took any meds), and said that it may have been 2-3 days since her last movement.
This afternoon (Sunday) I asked her if she had moved and she said no, not yet.
I'm beginning to get a little concerned about that, but I guess we'll have to wait for a couple of days to see what the nurse says on Tuesday.
The nurse brought in lots of meds several months ago --- one of them is something to loosen her up and another one just the opposite. I guess this problem is a common one for those in Mom's condition....
