Pain: When the nurse prodded a little more about Gma's pain level, in the past it has always been about her right knee. Today Gma mentioned that she was feeling, occasionally, a little pain (soreness, perhaps) in her throat area. The nurse said that that feeling is the start of what happens when the heart becomes burdened, as her tumor is putting more and more pressure on her heart. We will be watching this pain level more and more... We are just starting to get into the part of the process where the goal is to just keep her comfortable...
