When I was visiting Gma yesterday, it was time for lunch and an aide came in to help her get up. She swung Gma's legs around and set her up so Gma was sitting on the edge of the bed. I was working on the oxygen tank and air hose and the aide was doing something else, when all of a sudden we noticed that Gma had gotten herself up from the bed, turned around and sat herself in the wheelchair!
Now, that may not seem like much, but normally the aide has to lift her up out of the bed, help her get turned around and then lowered into the wheelchair.
Wow! What a sight.

Gma's 94th B-Day is a week away.
We are planning to reserve a room here at Sunshine Terrace next Friday, July 14th at 2:00 PM. Any one who can make it are welcome to come say HI and wish her well. I would reserve the room from 2-4 pm, but I don't think we can keep her up that long... But, she does surprise me at times.
Call/TXT/email me for instructions to get to the room, or meet at a location and be personally escorted to the room.
