Update ---
* Got a call from the Land Title Company yesterday morning, saying that they wanted to close on the loan for the sale of Gma's house.  That threw me for a loop.  That was 12 days sooner than I was expecting....  Cleaning and clearing of things from the house and property quickly flew into a frenzy of activity...  I persuaded them to give me a couple of days to be ready --- because, as soon as the papers are signed, everything in the house or on the property becomes the property of the new owners.    So, tomorrow morning at 10 AM, Gma will sign the papers, and then all we (she) has will be memories.  Fortunately, a text/phone call was made and a family from Missouri came to help and were able to use MANY if the items that we would have had to just leave behind.  I am particularly happy that so many of Gma's things will be used by those who can use them and appreciate them.

* While I was visiting Gma today, Ann-Marie, the administrator, came to visit Gma.  She told her that a room has opened up on Wing 2 and that they will be moving her in about a week or a few more days...  We don't have the room number yet, but it will be just across the hall from her friend Gertrude.  Wing 2 rooms seem to be a little more spacious and updated nicely.

* Got a call from Anna the Nurse this evening. She told me that the Hospice Doctor and she visited Gma and made a final determination regarding Gma's health status.  The result:  Gma will be discharged from Hospice, with her final day of service being next Tuesday.

* Russ and I were able to visit Gma for a few minutes last night.  His evaluation is that Gma is doing very well.

* On a side note:  Gma is sleeping a lot.  When she is not directly eating or at an activity, she is sleeping.
