I was with Gma today when the Hospice Nurse came for her visit.

She told me that Gma will be discharged (officially) next Tuesday from Hospice.

That's when a whole new adventure begins!

She (nurse) and I are trying to figure out the wheelchair and oxygen issues as she moves back onto Medicare...  I'll have more to deal with there.

As for Gma -  she is still alert and able to do things for herself if she has to.  Of course, she will accept help if anyone is around to help her.  (Ah, governmental paperwork!  Will it ever end?)

I got her (Gma) some new 'gripper' socks so she can more safely maneuver across the tile floors.  She likes them.  It will be fun to see how long they last --  (a little pricey I think, but I'm not up with the cost of clothes these days -- I probably haven't bought clothes for myself for about a decade...    Scary, right!)
