This is me with my Sweetheart Parley. Thought you'd like to see us together. Parley passed away August 10, 1997. We were married Jan. 10, 1946 in the Logan Temple.Parley had just come home from WWII. I drove to Hanford, 30 miles from Coalinga where I met him as he got off the Train. It was at night when he arrived. We drove to Coalinga, CA in my Dad's Studebaker that I inherited, as my Daddy had passed away, and Mother didn't drive anymore. Parley had asked me to marry him--he came for me. My life was ahead of me, so this left my Mother by herself as my three sisters were all married, and my brother Jim was in Japan in the Navy.
We raised three sons, Dave, Russ and Duane. Parley was an Electrical Construction Engineer, traveled much in his work. We were marred 51 years when he passed away on Aug. 10, 1997. Wonderful life together, it was. Now I will try my best to live righteously so I can be with him again.
Life is quick in passing. Live each day the best we know how. Be kind to one another. Gramma Emma.
