Here is Dave

Here is Dave, the Artist of the Fish in the Pond of the Old Water Mill Picture.
He lives in Kearns, UT.
Dave was Drafted into the United States Army during the Viet Nam War. When he left for Viet Nam, it was so hard for Parley and Me. We cried on our way home from the Salt Lake Airport. We prayed he would be protected and come back to us. Russ drove us home,and Duane was with us also.
During battle, he was wounded by gunshot, was pulled out the river with a dislocated elbow and shrapnel in his leg. The soldier in front of him was killed.
He spent time in Okinawa, Japan recovering, then, thankfully, he went to the Army Base in Washington State where he was released from the Army instead of being sent back to the field of battle.
He and Sharri were married and had Shane and Shannon. Later he went to Alaska to work. Then he went to Saude Arabia to work earning money to support his Family. On returning, he worked at the Army Base near Tooele until he retired. I'm thankful and love my son Dave.
