Here is Grandpa Parley when he played Basketball for the MMen in Mutual. He is the 7th from the left side. I still have his Uniform he worn then. I had it cleaned, and it is maroon color. He was a good basketball player. Isn't he handsome -:)After we were married, he played basketball again, and as he was running in the game, one of the players kicked his leg, which broke the main blood vessel. That was worse than as if he had broken his leg. I took good care of him. In the process, his body had to form a new blood vessel, but he was able to walk again. While he was recuperating, he was on crutches and went to USU, it was then the Utah State Agricultural College. He studied electricity, and became a Journeyman Electrician. He provided wonderfully for our Family of three sons, Dave,Russ and Duane.
