Home Repairs/Christmas Present from Parley!

This if me @ One Month Old. Mrs Ayer is holding me. When I was born, my three Sisters had Whooping Cough, so Mom couldn't bring me home. Mrs. Ayer want to keep me as she didn't have her own children. I'm glad my Daddy and Mommie kept me!
Old Homes mean repairs. I now have a brand new kitchen sink faucet. It is wonderful and beautiful. My old one just was worn out. I have new turnoff valves underneath the sink too. They've been there 50+ years, so guess it's time for new ones!
Then--toilet concerns! I've a new unit in the 'little' bathroom, works pretty well, but may need adjusting. Then, the main toilet--Bill Smith adjusted it 'cause it wasn't turning off all the time. After he left it worked for a day, but then, troubles--it wouldn't flush properly, nor would the water come back in to refill--woes !!! He told me how to adjust that!! So, after Church today, I tried it, and walla!!! it blew off the white part of the unit and water squirted ALL OVER. I quickly turned the water valve off! Sure glad I've floor turnoffs! Otherwise I would have had a flood in the bathroom. ( I had to change my blouse and it got my hair all wet--tut, tut.

I called Bill--still at Church, but his wife anwered. She is a lovely person, Sherrie is her name. I've met her. She wasn't feeling well, so I told her to have Bill come tomorrow and bring a new unit for that toilet! Have to have these important facilities working right, especially now, at Christmas and family coming!

You should see my Beautiful Tree, decorated and surrounded with presents, such fun! Just like a kid, wondering what is inside the pretty wrappings and sacks, etc. Ah, the wonder of Christmas

Let's remember the Real Reason for Christmas, and what Jesus Christ has done for us all--given the blessing of choice, resurrection, and life in our next world, to be FAMILIES together. What fun that will be.
